Studio News: An Update on Bramble and the Beach Nest

Work is quietly but steadily continuing on the second book in the series, Bramble and the Beach Nest, and it’s lovely to finally be able to share a little update from behind the scenes.

Work is quietly but steadily continuing on the second book in the series, Bramble and the Beach Nest, and it’s lovely to finally be able to share a little update from behind the scenes. How Work Is Coming Along

Bramble has been taking shape piece by piece, from early sketches and character refinement to developing the flow of the story and illustrations together. Much of the work happens quietly, with lots of small adjustments, reworking details, and letting the book settle into its own rhythm.

The coastal setting has been a particular joy to work on, with careful attention given to textures, light, and those small, easily missed details that make beach landscapes feel alive and calm.

A Familiar World, A New Story

While Bramble and the Beach Nest sits alongside the first book in the series, it has its own atmosphere and pace. It’s a gentle story rooted in curiosity, observation, and the natural world One that invites readers to slow down and notice what’s around them.

As with the first book, there’s been a strong focus on keeping the wildlife elements grounded and respectful, allowing nature to lead the story rather than overwhelm it.

When Will It Be Released?

One of the most common questions is about timing, and while there isn’t a fixed release date to share just yet, the book is moving along well and the release won’t be too far away.

There’s still important behind-the-scenes work happening, including final refinements and preparation for the next stages, but everything is heading in the right direction.

Updates will be shared here on the blog as things progress, including sneak peeks, illustrations, and more about the story as it comes together.

Thank You for Following Along

Seeing interest in Bramble as it develops has been incredibly encouraging. Creating books like this is a slow, thoughtful process, and it means a great deal to know that people are enjoying following the journey as much as the finished stories.

More news soon… and thank you, as always, for supporting the studio and its stories.
