About Skye Moore Studio

Gentle, illustrated children’s books inspired by wildlife and the natural world.

Our Story

Skye Moore Studio is based on the Isle of Wight, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

The island’s spectacular landscapes and rich wildlife have been a constant source of inspiration. It was here that the very first story, Jasper and the Spring Surprise, was born.

We believe stories can help children fall in love with nature. Our books are both gentle tales and windows into the living world, filled with plants, trees, and wildlife that young readers can spot outdoors. Each story includes a few extra facts and ideas at the back to encourage families to explore, notice, and care for nature together.

Giving Back

Every book helps give back to wildlife, with 25% of profits donated to conservation charities.

We periodically change the charity we support to spread that impact across a range of causes. Information about the current charity is shared on our social media, and we encourage readers to learn more about the work being done in their own area, discover how their support helps protect habitats, and even get involved through volunteering or local events. Small actions, when shared, can make a big difference for the wild places we all love.

About The Author

Behind Skye Moore Studio is Tanith, an author and illustrator with a lifelong love of storytelling and the natural world.

She creates picture books that invite children to slow down, wonder, and connect.

As a parent of two, she has always treasured bedtime stories, those quiet moments of imagination, curiosity, and connection. Her own children’s love of books continues to inspire her work, reminding her how stories can create lasting memories and nurture a sense of care for the world around us.

Each book gently weaves storytelling with nature education, encouraging curiosity and shared discovery for the whole family.
